There are many kinds of tests that happen in an artist’s studio:  size tests, color tests, dimensional experiments, color experiments…

This piece is all of the above!  I was trying to determine size and dimension for the grey elements and ways of including dimensional structure with a pop of color.  Suddenly it made me think of experimental cars and all their testing…sometimes culminating in a Land Speed Record!
