Since the 2017 presidential election, I have watched the news obsessively. I have watched and drawn the faces on the news, nearly every night, and translated them into embroidery.  As I stitched and tested the designs, I considered their presentation.  I designed newsprint fabric and had it printed.  Then I over-dyed the fabric.  As I hung them, I overlapped them, much like the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC and PBS who talked over one another constantly.
