Well, Let’s try this again!
One never knows what will or will not happen in this ever-changing climate of disease and dis-ease. Discover “Treasure” by Susan Hensel Projects

Treasure, one of my all time favorite pieces, is scheduled to be part of the Taos Insurgency at Greg Moon Art in Taos, NM.

From Greg Moon today, “It seems that we are not moving out of Phase 1 restrictions until at least the 15th of this month (three days before our show), and maybe not even then if the infection rate doesn’t decline. The show will go on as scheduled unless a new lockdown is ordered by the Governor before the 18th. As we are as much in the dark as the rest of you we hope you can bear with us in these trying and uncertain times. Any news on changes to the present situation will be relayed with all due haste.”

So, I guess this falls under the column labeled Hope!  UPS comes to pick-up the 2 boxes needed to ship this sculpture on July 6.

Did you know that this piece started out a bit differently?  It hung out in the studio for a few months looking like this:

Nice, but kinda’ plain.  Then one night I dreamed of faceted rubies.  That is what it needed!  Precious jewels!

So, if all goes as planned, it will travel to the southwest to spread its cheerful sparkle.
